Dr. Copland joined the Duke Fertility Center in Durham, NC in 2007. She is a specialist infertility doctor who’s board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.
Dr. Copland is Director of the Donor Egg Recipient Program. Together with Dr. Julia Woodward, our on-site psychologist, and Jan Riggan, our Donor Egg Recipient Coordinator, she oversees egg donor screening and recipient matching to ensure safety while minimizing your infertility time waiting for a donor. Currently our Donor Egg Recipient Program offers the highest pregnancy rate in North Carolina.
Dr. Copland is also the Director of the Fertility Preservation program in Durham, NC. She collaborates with oncology and rheumatology to ensure that patients facing chemotherapy and radiation who are interested in future fertility are offered all possible infertility treatment and fertility preservation options. Dr. Copland is currently working toward offering ovary and oocyte banking at Duke Fertility Center in Durham and Raleigh, NC.

Research Interests
As an infertility specialist, Dr. Copland is involved in clinical and translational research. Current projects focus on ovulation induction, sperm-egg binding, male factor infertility, embryo development and fertility preservation.
